The Biomedical Evidence-based Transdisciplinary (BEST) Health Research Institute is a major Research and Knowledge Exchange Institute at the University of Lancashire. The Institute promotes interdisciplinary research that spans the entire spectrum of health research, from fundamental biomedical investigations and translational science to patient-focused and clinical research.

BEST brings together scientists, clinicians, healthcare professionals, educators and industry partners to address global health challenges and improve healthcare outcomes through evidence-based research and innovation.
